C18 Audio asset

The Audio Asset component allows users to embed an MP3 file directly onto a page. The built-in audio player provides essential controls, including play, pause, timeline navigation, and mute, ensuring a seamless listening experience.
  

Component requirements

Required:

• Audio file: Only MP3 format is supported.
• Player alignment: Left/Center. Default: Left. 
• Caption alignment: Top/Bottom. Default: Top.

Optional:

• Caption: Rich text field. Allows users to add a description above or below the audio player.

Additional component notes:

• Audio player is automatically rendered by the platform.

ADA requirements

Player controls (play, pause, volume, and timeline) are fully operable using a keyboard.
The player has proper labels for screen readers, including play/pause status updates.
