Page templates
Sitecore page templates are used to simplify the creation process by enabling specific components by default, based on the page’s intended use. These page templates define the layout, components and functionality of web pages, ensuring consistency across Advocate Health's digital experiences and efficiency in content creation.
Each template includes default and available components such as navigation, breadcrumbs, rich text, images and videos.
Template guidance
The following provides governance for Sitecore page templates that can be used underneath other templates.
Items of note:
- All page templates reside under the Homepage template
- Homepage templates typically only live under other main Homepage templates
- No templates are nested under Blog, News or Location templates
- All templates are available under Blank and Blank Left Nav templates except for the Homepage template
