C47 Multi-column splitter

The multi-column splitter creates flexible 2, 3, or 4-column layouts and allows approved components to be placed within each column. Examples include a video side by side with text, or a combination of content in one column and a media asset in another.

 

Component requirements

Required:

• Number of columns: Dropdown. 2/3/4. Default: 3.

Additional component notes:

• Components approved for use within each column: 
  • C05, C07, C15, C16, C18, C25, C26, C30, C31, C32, C33, C55
• Multi-column splitter contains a 40px top margin.

Content guidance 

This component gives the option to display content and assets in a side-by-side format.  

• You can choose up to a 4-column layout with clear direction on content that goes in each column. 
• This component is often used for bulleted lists or when listing information that is best viewed in many columns. See the contact us page for an example of a 3-column layout or the price transparency page for a 2-column layout example. 

ADA requirements

• ADA compliance for this component follows the rules established for each individual component; no additional guidelines apply specifically to the multi-column splitter.
