C60 News

The News component presents news articles with a headline, publish date, and main content, while supporting optional fields like excerpt or subheadline. It can include a large, full-width featured image, giving flexibility to create a visually engaging layout for timely content.

 

Component requirements

Required:

  • Headline: Text field. Styled as an H1.
  • Publish date: Date picker. Allows user to set publish date (date/time) or to publish immediately.
  • Main content: Rich text field. 

Optional:

  • Subheadline: Text field. Styled as an H2.

  • Featured image: Allows user to add an image. Image will always span full width of the template. Recommended size: 1440x750.

  • Featured image caption: text field

  • Display share: Checkbox. Shows or hides sharing features. This includes Facebook, Linked in, Email.

  • Hide subheadline: Checkbox. Shows or hides the subheadline.

Content guidance

  • This component is used only for news releases.

  • The H1 is the title of the news release. The optional subhed is styled as an H2.

  • The date picker allows user to set the publication date.

  • Follow our normal copy style guidance for news release copy.

ADA requirements

  • Images need to have an alt text attached to them (unless being used as decorative).
  • Share icons are marked as decorative and are ignored by assistive technologies.
