As one of our Corporate Partners in Philanthropy since 2007, Epic has contributed to programs and initiatives that impact some of our most vulnerable populations.

Based in Verona, Wisconsin, Epic is a healthcare software company that develops electronic health record (EHR) systems that hospitals, physician practices and health systems use to manage patient information, clinical workflows, scheduling, billing and other operational functions. Advocate Health uses Epic’s EHR to support patient care and securely manage health information across its enterprise.

Aurora Healing & Advocacy Services
In 2025, 287 patients were served through the Healing Center with 456 patient encounters for sexual assault and domestic violence between Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Aurora West Allis Medical Center and Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. Philanthropy allows us to continue to provide crisis care, trauma-informed counseling, domestic violence services, survivor advocacy, community education and a 24-hour crisis hotline and text line.
Aurora Walker’s Point Community Clinic
Aurora Walker’s Point Community Clinic is Wisconsin’s largest free clinic with a mission to provide access to high-quality, integrative healthcare for Milwaukee residents who are underserved, or unserved, by the existing healthcare network. In 2025 alone, the clinic served over 5,000 patients from a wide range of economic and cultural backgrounds with over 90% being born outside the United States and speaking over 40 different languages. Charitable gifts support primary and urgent care, nursing services and chronic disease management and behavioral health services.
Bread of Healing Clinic
The Bread of Healing Clinic provides free services for low-income people who experience barriers to accessing ongoing healthcare. Established in 2000 with the support of Aurora Health Care, the clinic began as a ministry of Cross Lutheran church, working together with other local organizations to provide free primary medical care to adults without insurance in southeastern Wisconsin. Over the past 25 years, Bread of Healing and Aurora have maintained a sustainable partnership between healthcare professionals, students, volunteers, and the community. Today, three clinic locations in Milwaukee, including the original clinic at Cross Lutheran Church, provide free, high-quality medical, dental, vision and behavioral health care for people with chronic illnesses who do not have access to health insurance in a warm, inclusive environment with a commitment to achieving health, not simply eliminating sickness.
