Julie A. Freischlag

Julie has more than 30 years of industry experience leading patient care services, education and training. A practicing vascular surgeon, she specializes in the treatment of thoracic outlet syndrome. She served as the 2021-2022 President of the American College of Surgeons and serves on the board of directors of the Association for American Medical Colleges, the National Institute of Health Clinical Center Research Hospital board, the Aga Khan University board of trustees, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine advisory board, the University of Illinois Health advisory board and the American Hospital Association Changing Workforce task force.
